I just opened the bags and started my lab. Almost NONE of the thirty plus fish heads had the gills which I explicitly stated I needed.
I would like to request compensation for the ones that did NOT have gills which was an inexcusable amount. I am available to speak between 11:45am-12:15pm and after 4pm today

The package arrived on the exact date, but the ice was thawed (water), and not cold, the fish had a decomposition smell.
I used to buy from WILD FORK, and when I received the meat that I bought from them, it came with plenty of dry ice, in transparent plastic bags, and the product still frozen. It seems that this fish that I received from you was not sufficiently protected from decomposition. The previous fish I bought was excellent, but not now. Very disappointed.

Awesome dinner! Salmon Heads are so fresh. No fuss preparation: chop it up (or whole), add a fistful of garlic and a cup or so sake and just let it stew away. Ultimate comfort food!

Comforting winter staple: put fish head in a pot, add a fistful of garlic cloves, pour in 1 cup of wine, cover pot and let it stew to all soft and mellow. yum!

I made Sean Sherman's wild rice and fish head soup with these salmon heads and it turned out delicious (and with very dramatic plating). Was also a great deal for a rich, flavorful meal.

I chatted with one of the guys at Four Star when I picked up my order and he mentioned that he loves using fish heads in chowders with potato and corn, so I went to Whole Foods right after and got ingredients to try it.
