I love razor clams! They are a bit of a pain to clean, but you always forget that part while you are eating them. These are just simply baked in a hot oven with panko seasoned with fresh ginger, garlic, parsley and olive oil and a squeeze of lemon once out of the oven. Recipe from the NYT.

Super fresh and easy to clean. Don't be intimidated by new seafood, I wrote to Four Star asking for suggestions, Jeffrey wrote back and shared tips to clean and a great recipe, thank YOU!!!

Lightly breaded and fried. Tender, not too chewy. What a treat!

Ordered a variety of shellfish. The razor clams are my personal favorite. This last batch had 5 razor clam per pound as they were large and nice and meaty. Took one star off as of the razor clam was dead as the inner tack has discolored.

Fresh, alive and sweet tasting. Takes a bit of work to clean but worth the effort

The clams are very delicate. I removed them and pounded them out, coated in panko and fried. Best clams I have ever had!

Steam razor clams are delicious!

Delicious and still wiggling on arrival. Quick sauté (30-60 seconds) with a garlic pesto worked best for me.
For anyone wondering, there were about 9-10 clams per pound.

My favorite shellfish. I wish that I could have them more often
